“NAME THAT DOUGHNUT CONTEST” – Sept, Oct, Nov 2016

In partnership with Koch’s Bakery at 1900 Broad St in Chattanooga, our ArchWay kids are getting the opportunity to brand and market their first product: a DOUGHNUT!132328_181230205236373_969561_o

The kids are currently being guided through five in-depth sessions about how to approach naming, branding, designing, marketing, and selling a product. Once they have finished all five sessions, they will announce their new doughnut to the world!

Then, for the months of September, October, and November, they will sell their doughnuts. Sales will take place at special events, by-order, and will also be available every Wednesday at Koch’s bakery. Their goal is to sell $12,000 in doughnuts in three months.

And here is a little music video from the launch event of the Doughnut Contest. We took the kids whitewater rafting down the Ocoee River to get them out of their comfort zones, to experience something new, and to learn a little bit about teamwork:
