Carlos Hampton

Native to Chattanooga, I was raised in the inner city areas. Born on the South side of Chattanooga and later moving to East Chattanooga with my mother, we were the statistic (Single Mother and Son). After graduating from Howard School of Academics and Technology in 1992, I joined the United States Navy, where I was shown a broader perspective of life and that the world was a lot larger than the four corners that I grew up on. I completed a four year contractual obligation with the military attaining a Good conduct award/ribbon among other medals and accolades. I became a Chattanooga City Fire Fighter in March of 1998.
I did everything that I was told to do in order to make it out of the “HOOD” and live the “American Dream” just to realize that my goal was to amass stuff to show my value and status in society. Realizing in life that the value of self was always there even before I was able to afford the stuff.
My goal at Archway is to show our kids that They are the Stuff, that they are the Value, that it is them who hold the worth, and that they are the hottest brand.
Branding, self worth, entrepreneurship.
